ASU STUNDENT MURDERED

Zachory Marco was shot on the 17th of this October (2010) just four days ago, as he was walking home from the Library. Zachory was rushed to a hospital and died early the next morning. The shooting happened on the corner of University and Rural Rd. A CORNER THAT I HAPPEN TO RUN BY ALMOST EVERYDAY. In fact, I jogged by that site this morning. The police believe that the shooter shot Zachory for the nothing more than to steal his laptop.
Zachory Marco was known around campus for being outgoing and a very fun student. The overly polite student was an ASU honor student majoring in Political Science. The 21-year-old was the model student and was a model human being, the world needs more people like him.
The fact that people are shooting college students is scary, the fact the people are shooting college students on/or right off of campus (especially a campus I live on) is even scarier. BUT GET THIS-
ASU, for the most part, has kept this hushed up. Almost nobody on campus even knows about the shooting. How are ASU students suppose to feel safe when their school wont inform them about the current threats and dangers right in our backyard! The hurt that the death of Zachory Marco has cause to his family and the family he had in the ASU community is drastic and of a saddening tumescence.
Zachory Marco will always have a special place in the hearts of the faculty and students of Arizona State University. Honor the memory of Zachory by being safe and using caution when walking Tempe campus at night. In the memory of Zachory Marco we say GOD Bless and Rest In Peace.
